Advanced Medical Imaging (AMI) recently announced the addition of Tien A. Wee, M.D. to its practice. He and his wife and two children moved to Kitsap County from Puyallup.

Wee is a board-certified radiologist and has completed a fellowship in MRI. He was born in the United Kingdom, and moved to America in 1998. Wee attended Columbia University in New York, receiving his bachelor of arts degree in biology and chemistry. He received his M.D. degree there as well.

Wee spent one year at the University of Hawaii completing his Internal Medicine internship. Sacramento, Calif., was his home for the four years he attended the University of California Davis, where he took his Radiology residency. Wee spent one more year in Long Beach, Calif., at the Memorial MRI Center, where he completed a fellowship in MRI.

As a result of his fellowship, Dr. Wee brings special expertise in the field of MRI to the facility.
