Twiss Analytical Laboratories has purchased two Perkin Elmer Gas Chromatographs to further expand its organic testing capabilities.

The instruments will be used to test for diesel, gasoline, hydrocarbon ID, volatile and organic compounds.

President Steve Twiss indicated that Department of Ecology and Department of Health certification for these tests are planned for May and June after each of the instruments completes all necessary performance studies.

Located in the Twelve Trees Business Park in Poulsbo, Twiss Analytical is the only private certified analytical laboratory on the Kitsap Peninsula.
