The Kitsap Mental Health Services Foundation has announced today it will host a gala celebration in honor of the 25th Anniversary of Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS), a local non-profit agency that has provided and continues to provide services and hope for thousands of individuals and their families.
The event, Celebrating the Past, Endowing the Future, has been scheduled for Friday, May 30, at the Admiral Theatre in Bremerton. The black tie affair will feature a gala dinner and tribute to those who have contributed to the successes of the agency, along with a concert by the renowned musical group, The Platters one of the preeminent doo wop groups of the 60s.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the KMHS Endowment Fund, which is used to generate adequate funds to offset any future funding crises.
The evening, which is slated to begin at 6:00 p.m., will feature a reception followed by dinner and then the evenings entertainment.
