The Festival of Trees, Harrison Hospital Foundation’s signature fund raising event, will celebrate its 17th year as a community holiday celebration with a new weekend date — Dec. 5-7 — and a new event coordinator.

This year, the event will not only kick-off the holidays with the Women’s Luncheon; Party Among the Trees; Gala Tree Party & Auction; and Breakfast with Santa; but is also excited to now have two additional days, December 3-4, available for corporate parties.

After 11 years as the festival coordinator, Susan Phillips will be relinquishing the job to Valerie Endicott. Phillips will be taking on new initiatives for the Harrison Hospital Foundation. Endicott, who comes to the Foundation most recently from the Central Kitsap School District, has been a past festival volunteer.

“We are so pleased to welcome Valerie to our staff and look forward to partnering with the community for another successful event for the benefit of Harrison Hospital,” said Stephanie Cline, the Foundation’s executive director.
