Leadership Kitsap, a proven leadership and developmental training program, is currently recruiting for the class of 2004.

Leadership Kitsap provides one year of community and leadership training for future leaders in Kitsap County. All applications will be reviewed and all candidates will be interviewed. The Leadership Kitsap foundation will select up to 25 for the class of 2004.

The Leadership Kitsap program includes eight “Challenge Days” held one Friday per month, and two Friday/Saturday retreats. Each Challenge Days addresses a specific area of issues facing Kitsap County such as education, law enforcement, economic development, health care and governance.

The class for 2004 will begin in September 2003 and run through June 2004. The tuition for the program is $1,500, with some tuition assistance available.
