Elected officials really are there to serve you. They prove it at the second annual “Celebrity Waiters” Silverdale Chamber of Commerce fundraiser March 4.

The dignitaries are as follows: County Commissioner Patty Lent, Sheriff Steve Boyer, Kathy Sanford of Harrison Memorial Hospital, Dana Lerma of Kitsap Humane Society, Miss Kitsap contestants Kelly Skiff, Amy Stadshaug, Diosa Werner, Silverdale Chamber Board President Jennifer Green, and Charleen Burnette of Bremerton Kitsap Access Television.

Central Kitsap School District volunteers include Central Kitsap High School Football Coach Mark Keel and his coaching staff, Klahowya Secondary School Principal Katherine Gleysteen, Assistant Principal Mona Swanson, instructor Bryan Demaray, and several Olympic High School staff.

Also making appearances will be representatives from the army, navy, the Westsound Orcas (including former NFL alum Kevin Sargent), former Seattle Seahawk Norm Johnson and the Seahawk Sea Gals!

This year, Red Robin, Olive Garden and Red Lobster will play host in support of the Kiwanis and Silverdale Chamber of Commerce Vocational/Technical Skills Scholarship Program.
