Bainbridge Island resident Roberta A. Farris has joined the Seattle law firm of Short Cressman & Burgess PLLC as Office Counsel.
With 15 years of experience in representing real estate firms in many aspects of development, Farris is considered an industry leader in developing master plans, obtaining governmental permits and approvals.
Farris joins the Environmental Land Use & Natural Resources and Real Estate Practice Groups at SC&B. As a licensed real estate broker for 10 years, she has been actively involved in economic development and growth, particularly in rural areas of western Washington. She has also served as a trustee for the Washington Forest Protection Association.
Farris received her B.A. degree from the University of Washington in 1979, and earned her law degree in 1984 at the University of Puget Sound. She was recently appointed to the board of Washington Trust for Historic Preservation. |
