Trio of Kingston firms relocate
In the midst of a Welcome Ribbon Cutting, Kingston Chamber of Commerce past president, Tom Lamar, receives a natural “workup” from the healing team at Four Winds Natural Medicine. L-R: Rammona Fermanis, office manager; Nancy Koontz, LMT; Marleen Haverty, ND, LAc; and Holly Christy, ND, LAc.
Olympic Collision Center, Kingston Cove Food Cooperative and Four Winds Natural Medicine in Kingston have all recently relocated.
With 25 years experience and a third generation in the collision repair business, Olympic Collision owner, Steve Olson, knows his way around dents and dings. At the new Kennedy Industrial Park location, Olson is able to perform a wide array of collision related services: from unibody realignment and custom painting to complete collision repair and refinishing.
The shop can also accommodate motor homes. Olson can be reached at (360) 297-2555.
With the aim of providing high quality natural and organic food to the North Kitsap area by supporting local farmers, fishers, and crafts people, the Kingston Cove Food Cooperative is well on its way with 120 members strong.
While anyone is welcome to stop in and shop, food cooperative members can take advantage of the buyer’s club which allows them to order natural foods, supplements, and beauty items at wholesale prices directly from distributors.
The store is currently staffed by volunteers on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. (and until 7 p.m. on Tuesday). The co-op is located at 26102 NE Illinois Avenue in Kingston and can be reached at (360) 297-5577.
Past president Tom Lamar of the Kingston Chamber of Commerce dropped in to welcome the practitioners at Four Winds Natural Medicine with a traditional ribbon cutting — and ended up with an exam. Drs. Marleen Haverty and Holly Christy are both naturopathic physicians and acupuncturists who help their patients through natural medicine, acupuncture, and acutonics.
Joining the two is Nancy Koontz, licensed massage therapist, who adds massage and cranial sacral therapy to the healing mix. The Kingston practice, located at 26102 Illinois Avenue since June of last year, can be reached at (360) 297-2975. Most major insurances are accepted, and in many cases naturopathic doctors can act as primary care providers.
