Custom Framing celebrates 8 years

Mallory Jackson of Custom Picture Framing of Bay Street is celebrating her eighth year in business by featuring in-store-specials and a variety of art demonstrations throughout the month of February. Visitors are encouraged to enter a drawing to win a framed art print by romance artist Jack Vetrianno.

Since opening her business in February 1995, Jackson has relocated her shop three times, each to a larger location along Bay Street. She is currently located at the corner of Bay Street and Harrison Avenue, near JJ’s on the Bay.

“My customers know I’m the one who will greet them and care for their treasures. I am there from the beginning to end.” Jackson said.

The shop specializes in shadow boxes and hard-to-frame projects using only museum quality materials. Jackson enjoys working with family heirlooms, old photos and memorabilia. She has dozens of completed shadow boxes on display in her shop, including her father’s military career box and a framed teacup with saucer from her childhood.

The shop is open Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call (360) 876-1031.
