A fund in the name of the five Bremerton children assaulted Jan. 16 in a home invasion has been established at two local financial institutions. The Bremerton Five Children’s Fund will defray the cost of repairs and refurbishment of the crime scene in the home of three of the victims, including restoring the dwelling’s security.

Remaining funds will be equally divided among the five youth and placed in trust for their post-high school education.

Donations to the Bremerton Five Children’s Fund may be made at any branch of the Kitsap Community Federal Credit Union or mailed to the main branch at 1025 Burwell, Bremerton, WA 98337.

Donations are also being accepted at any office of Washington Mutual or may be mailed to their main branch at 500 Pacific, Bremerton, WA 98337.
