The Bainbridge Island Community Endowment has elected new board officers for 2003.

They are: Steve Davis, president; Tom Beierle, vice president; Jeff Pritchard, treasurer; and Ellin Spenser, secretary. Other Board members include: Bess Alpaugh, Tom Reveley, Kathryn Carruthers, Larry Mills, Joan Lindall Holcomb, Sonya Marinoni, Emma Patterson, Bob Karr and Carol White.

A registered 501(c)3 organization, the endowment is the successor to the Bainbridge Foundation Trust and provides a vehicle through which donors (both large and small) can contribute to the future needs of the community in the arts, human services, animal welfare, education, the environment or other field of the donor’s interest.

The endowment is governed by an all-volunteer board and is professionally managed under the umbrella of The Seattle Foundation.
