Kenny’s Northwest Experience in Allyn celebrated its 10th year in business on Dec. 13. What started as a small shop with a home espresso machine and a selection of local books has blossomed into a successful chain.

Two brothers relocating to the beauty of the Pacific Northwest started the business in late 1993 in Allyn. Gradually they added more local and regional items, including art, to their offerings. The small shop became a gallery. The gallery expanded to become the World’s largest outlet of chainsaw carvings.

In 2000 the brothers opened a second shop in Startup (Snohomish County) then two more in Snoqualmie and Poulsbo in 2001.
