Members of the Homebuilders Association of Kitsap County (HBA) got into the spirit of Christmas as they worked to help seven local families who otherwise would have had a bleak holiday. The families come from throughout Kitsap County and include 11 parents and 17 children with ages ranging from two months to 16 years old.
This is the third year the annual “Build a Better Christmas” program has contributed to making a better holiday for local families who are experiencing difficult economic times. Contributions for the effort came from individual HBA members and the Remodeler’s Council.
The project was coordinated through the Christmas Angel Project of Kitsap Community Resources.
The HBA’s Build a Better Christmas committee consists of Randy Biegenwald, Charlie Mackall, Dale Armstrong, Rick Courson, Roxanne Hersmann and Carolyn Frame.
