During the West Sound Human Resource Management Association’s December Celebration Luncheon, held at the Silverdale Hotel, the 2002 West Sound Work/Life Partnership Awards were presented.

The awards are presented in recognition of employers who have policies and programs that help employees balance work and life responsibilities in order to enhance productivity, which is important to our community. Those who were selected to receive the 2002 award are:

Drury Construction Co. Inc.; Edgren, Hecker & Lemon Insurance; Fred Hill Materials; Kitsap Credit Union; Longs Drugs; Olympic Area Agency on Aging and Paladin Data Systems Corporation.

The event was sponsored by the Bremerton Area Chamber of Commerce and the Business Journal.
