Port Orchard-based Westech Aerosol Corporation was recently awarded a Government Services Administration (GSA) contract to sell industrial strength marine, vehicle and architectural aerosol adhesives to government agencies across the nation.

Westech, which was established in July of 1999, has experienced a dramatic increase in commercial product sales over the last year. In addition, the start-up company has more than doubled its staff to meet the growing demand of the industrial adhesives market.

Westech manufactures and sells high quality, environmentally safe industrial strength adhesives. Included in its product line are multi-purpose high temperature and non-flammable adhesives as well as adhesive remover. All are available in handheld aerosol cans or canisters with reusable gun and hose.

Its products create a strong, permanent and waterproof bond for plastic laminates to wood or particleboard, upholstery to metal, automotive headliners and many additional applications such as use by manufacturers of furniture, high-pressure laminates, recreational vehicles and manufactured housing.
