Robert Meredith, district director of the Seattle District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration presented the SBA Bronze Medal Award to Kitsap Bank in recognition of its lending activity as the third most active SBA lender in Western Washington.

Meredith acknowledged that Kitsap Bank has been a leader in the state for delivering the agency’s “7a Guaranteed Loan Program” with the approval of some 200 loans in primarily rural communities during the past four years.

“Kitsap Bank is very proud of its SBA lending achievements,” said bank President Jim Carmichael. “As a local bank with a 94-year history in Washington, we are especially proud of being the number one community bank lender in the state during the SBA’s most recent year-end.”.
