Bainbridge Island C.P.A. Gary V. Anderson has acquired the Poulsbo-based J. Graham Pierson, Certified Public Accountant firm.

Anderson has more than 30 years experience in public and private accounting. He spent the past 10 years as chief financial officer of a timber management and development company.

“The time in private industry opened my eyes to what it takes to be successful in today’s business environment,” Anderson said. “I became a demanding consumer of the services we will be providing. I expect our new clients will be just as demanding.”

Anderson welcomes tax associate, Melinda R. Wagner, CPA. Wagner’s 12 years in tax and accounting include seven with an international accounting firm in Denver and Seattle and her own local firm providing consulting, tax and accounting services to individuals and small businesses.

“We have just three things to sell, our knowledge, experience and service to our customers,” Anderson said. “We are delivering products and services available elsewhere. Only one thing separates us from the competition and that is service, and service means delivering what our clients expect in time for it to make a difference in their business or personal life.”
