The Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce has issued an alert regarding some misinformation about a map project for Bainbridge Island and Poulsbo.

The chamber believes a company called Premier Map Company has been misrepresenting the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce in a map sales pitch to chamber members and Bainbridge businesses.

The company has solicited businesses saying it’s from “Chamber of Commerce Maps.” The Bainbridge chamber said the company implies that it is supporting the project.

The Premier Map Company project is in no way associated with the chamber’s own map of Bainbridge Island.
