Kitsap Mental Health Services has garnered a coveted Honorable Mention in the 7th Annual Behavioral Healthcare Leadership Awards sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company and Comprehensive NeuroScience.

The honor, announced during the Behavioral Healthcare & Informatics Tomorrow Conference was recognized in the category of Leadership in Demonstrated Measures of Program Performance and Performance Improvement.
Kitsap Mental Health Services entered the competition with its model of continual quality improvement based on measurable standards of performance. One of the results cited in their submission for the competition is the 5,000 hospitalizations avoided during the last seven years while their client base increased by 80 percent and costs per client decreased by 16 percent during the same time period.
