In another move that reaches across the environmental gap Kitsap has long suffered from, a soft bulkhead workshop will be held on Sat., Aug. 24.

Kitsap County Natural Resources, the Puget Sound Water Quality Action Team, the Kitsap Alliance of Property Owners, the Homebuilders Association of Kitsap County, the Liberty Bay Foundation and a University of Washington Sea Grant will all jointly sponsor the event.

The event will be held at the Silverdale Hotel from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants are required to register and a registration form will need to be returned with $10 for lunch.
