The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) recently honored Kitsap Community Federal Credit Union (KCFCU) with two prestigious awards. CUNA presented KCFCU with the first place Diamond Award for its marketing materials promoting its last year’s Pavilion Vehicle Sale.

Entries were judged on strategy, creative concept, design and production, copy and communication. KCFCU’s winning entry was among over 1000 entries received in this years’ CUNA Diamond Award competition.

KCFCU was also selected, for the second year in a row, to receive a second place Louise Herring award for the credit union Philosophy in Action competition. CUNA recognized the institution for its innovative Individual Development Account program developed for lower income residents in Kitsap County. KCFCU is the first not-for-profit financial cooperative in Washington State to offer this special matching savings account plan through a governmental agency.
