It’s always a gamble starting a new business. You have an ideal dream in mind, but will it work? For the owners of Poulsbo’s Sound Reprographics, the dream became a reality and flourished beyond their imaginations.

Shortly after the company opened, owners Joe Cardosi and Rick Huggins landed the project of a lifetime — printing the plans for Microsoft founder Bill Gates’ house. The “job” turned into a substantial four-year project. Using the project as a chance to prove themselves, the Gates’ job brought in enough revenue to allow the pair to really establish themselves, buy more equipment, and grow their business.
