The Bainbridge Island Arts & Humanities Council and The Bainbridge Island Park and Recreation District have announced that the Bainbridge Island Arts Walk and 17th Annual Outdoor Music & Art Festival will be held Sunday, Aug. 4.

The Arts Walk will feature a selection of local and regional visual artists with the theme of “Oil & Water (Together at Last).” Meet many of the artists who will be on hand to share and discuss their work with the public, as well as demonstrate techniques. The event will take place from noon to 5 p.m. along Winslow Way.

The Music and Art Festival has a great musical line-up at the Waterfront Park. Performances start at noon and continue non-stop until 6 p.m. A select group of visual artists from the area will display their work in booths near the park. Other events include the Bainbridge Island Photography Club exhibit, and the local teen center which will host a hands-on arts and crafts booth for children ages 4 to 10.
