Bainbridge Island’s Airbiquity, Inc., which was honored in last year as a “Venture All-Star” by Investment Forum as one of thirty-five emerging private companies in the Pacific Northwest, recently announced an agreement with Security Associates International, Inc. for a service called StreetSafe, which works together with a global positioning system (GPS) accessory product the company makes. Together, they utilize Airbiquity’s delivery of GPS data via wireless networks such as cell phones and PDAs and have to capability to enhance personal security.
