The Bremerton architectural firm of Rice Fergus Miller Architecture & Planning has announced that Chelsea Hughes has been awarded the firm’s sixth annual academic scholarship, in the amount of $500.

Hughes is a senior at Bremerton High School and served as Senior Class President. In addition, she has been involved in many aspects of school and community life as a member of Key Club and Leo Club, the Shining Knights Choir, the Peninsula Girl’s Choir and the BHS Jazz Choir. Hughes plans to attend the University of Washington to pursue a career in architecture.
