Poulsbo-based Paladin Data Systems Corp and Prepared Response, Inc., which develops emergency responder technology and services, have formed a strategic partnership. The two companies will combine their technical business development, marketing and government relations resources to provide emergency response and incident command solutions to first responders such as law enforcement, fire and medical personnel.
Jim Nall, President and CEO of Paladin Data Systems said, We are extremely excited about our partnership with Prepared Response, Inc. PRIs Rapid Responder product is uniquely designed and positioned to address the critical needs of public safety officers in emergency responses. This new strategic alliance will now add Paladins proprietary information management technologies to further enhance the products capabilities.
With a laptop, desktop computer or personal digital assistant, PRIs Rapid Responder product allows emergency responders en route and on site to instantly access pre-determined safety plans, floor plans, staging areas, hazardous materials information, collapse zones, utility shut-off locations, and photos for virtually any uploaded structure. Responders can also create incident command and control plans through a fully integrated Incident Command System, and communicate locally, regionally, or nationally in real time via a secure Internet connection.
Paladins proven expertise in information technology will help Prepared Response not only enhance its product offering but also assist the company in expanding its reach to government and commercial customers throughout North America, said PRI President and CEO, Sterling Griffin
Since the products release in January 2002, the company has licensed Rapid Responder to the state of Washington for use in government and school buildings, and to the city of Glendale, Ariz. More licensing agreements are expected soon, according to Griffin. |
