Hoke Consulting of Poulsbo is now offering a 90 Minute Marketing Plan workshop for business owners, sales and marketing managers, home based businesses.
The 90-minute marketing planning workshop covers five areas critical to the marketing and sales planning process, according to Bill Hoke, president of Hoke Consulting.
In the 90 minute workshop, we develop marketing objectives and goals and then develop action steps for customer retention, sales, advertising, news information and community relations. You will write your own marketing and sales plan, ready to take to work, Hoke said.
Few businesses have time or resources to develop a marketing and sales plan. Our workshop cuts to the chase and results in a working, action oriented plan for each of five areas. We work quickly in the workshop, avoid the big words and fancy terms and get to short and long term strategies and action steps, Hoke said.
After a successful career in advertising agencies where he served as a creative director and broadcast writer-producer for clients such as Pontiac, Boeing, AT&T, Nissan, and Holland America, Hoke started a consulting business from his home office in Poulsbo, Washington.
The 90-Minutes Marketing Plan workshop evolved from speaking and workshops Hoke has been doing for the past 15 years. Hoke published Secrets From the Red Tool Box, a marketing how to book named one of the 100 best business books by the University of Washington Sales Club.
The book is being published this summer under the title How to Get Your Share of Sales During Tough Times. It includes over 200 ideas to build business, a marketing planner and stories from successful start-ups.
From what I observe, businesses need a more transactional method to implement customer retention and sales strategies. They often misuse advertising, under-use news information and either do too little or too much in their community involvement. This workshop puts a focus on those areas.
Our goal is to find simple, practical and affordable strategies to keep customers coming back and new customers coming in. We dont need to make this any more complicated than necessary, but everyone in business needs a marketing plan, Hoke said.
