The West Sound Technology Professionals Association (WSTPA), recently appointed two new members to its Board, Doña Keating and Mark Westlund.
Keating is President and CEO of Professional Options and runs a successful policy and informational technology consulting firm in Silverdale. She is also active in the Kitsap Regional Telecommunications Committee, Olympic College Business Management Advisory Board and most recently provided expertise in designing and developing the Kitsap Regional Economic Development Councils (KREDC) new website.
Keating hopes to expand the scope of WSTPAs presence in the West Sound area by forging strategic alliances.
Westlund, Professor of Computer Information Systems at Olympic College, is involved with Tech Prep, a joint program between OC and local high schools to provide future IT professionals a jumpstart on their technical education at the high school level. He hopes to create partnerships between WSTPA and Olympic College that will benefit both.
