Keating adds KREDC Web site to portfolio

Keating Consulting Service, a Bremerton firm that provides information technology consulting for business, recently completed work to totally revise the Web site for the Kitsap Regional Economic Development Council (www.kitsapedc.org). The new site culminates a process begun nearly a year ago with many other firms and individuals including Professional Options, CaraLee Swegle, Jane Bedinger, Automated Business Systems, Tim Arnold, and the staff of the KREDC.

The restructured web site makes extensive use of ASP (Active Server Pages — a Microsoft technology) to provide common site features, ease of maintenance and a solid foundation for growth. Combined with an efficient navigational scheme, the new site will function as a research tool and will provide a comprehensive source of business and quality of life information about the region.

Founded in 1987, Keating Consulting Service serves clients nationwide.

“Helping the KREDC has been a great opportunity for us to support all local area businesses. We have significant involvement with other KREDC activities, such as the telecommunications committee, which is fostering business cooperation and the development of our regional telecommunications infrastructure. The new KREDC Web site helps us to communicate the message that Kitsap is ready for business,” said Charles Keating, president of the firm.
