Carole J. Grisham has been named as the new executive director of the Puget Sound Environmental Learning Center (PSELC). Grisham was formerly associate director of Seattles Pacific Science Center.
She will take the helm of the Bainbridge Island facility in late May and replaces acting Executive Director Paul Brainerd. Brainerd will remain on the PSELCs board of directors.
Caroles history of leadership and accomplishment with one of our regions most respected educational organizations made her the right choice for the PSELC, said Debbi Brainerd, the learning centers founder and board president. She has played a major role for the last 25 years in shaping the Pacific Science Centers internal operations and staffing, as well as overseeing development and growth of programs, fundraising and major construction projects.
