Puget Sound Environmental Learning Center
names new executive director

Carole J. Grisham has been named as the new executive director of the Puget Sound Environmental Learning Center (PSELC). Grisham was formerly associate director of Seattle’s Pacific Science Center.

She will take the helm of the Bainbridge Island facility in late May and replaces acting Executive Director Paul Brainerd. Brainerd will remain on the PSELC’s board of directors.

“Carole’s history of leadership and accomplishment with one of our region’s most respected educational organizations made her the right choice for the PSELC,” said Debbi Brainerd, the learning center’s founder and board president. “She has played a major role for the last 25 years in shaping the Pacific Science Center’s internal operations and staffing, as well as overseeing development and growth of programs, fundraising and major construction projects.”

The PSELC can be reached at (206) 855-4300 or visit WWW.PSELC.ORG.
