Happenings at Collective Visions

May 1-31: “Living Text, Living Texture: recent art by Bremerton artist Brian Watson. An exhibition of light and shadow on carved wood, featuring textured relief paintings, carved sculptural inscriptions, and text carved “touchstones.” Opening reception First Friday, May 3 from 5-8 p.m. 10 percent off all art purchased opening night.

May 17: Concert, 7-9 p.m.: Bottom Line Duo, innovative classical music. Admission is $9 for advance sales, $11 at the door. A 10 percent discount is offered on all art sales the night of the concert. Co-sponsor: West Sound Bank.

May 18, 7 p.m.: Eyewitness account to the Eruption of Mt. St. Helens, “Up Close and Too Personal.” Jack Christiansen will lead a slide presentation of his experience climbing Mt. Adams, just east of Mt. St. Helens, when it blew. Admission $5.
