The Bainbridge Island Arts & Humanities Council has put out a call to artists for the 2002 Bainbridge in Bloom Garden Tour, which will take place July 12, 13, and 14.
Submissions are being accepted for the exhibit of artwork relating to gardens works about gardens or art that can be placed in gardens. There are two categories for exhibiting at the Garden Tour, booths and garden display. The deadline for submissions is March 15.
Artists in the booth category will provide their own 10x10 booth, which will be located at one of the gardens. The fee for a booth is $100. One additional artist may join another artists booth for an additional fee of $50.
Artists in the garden display category will have their work displayed in the garden. This category is for durable outdoor pieces, generally freestanding. Artists in this category will not be charged a set-up fee, but will pay a 30 percent commission on work that is sold.
Both categories will be juried. Artists should submit 5-10 slides and/or photographs of work with a SASE with the application form, which is available at BIAHC office.
