2002 Festival of Trees already
getting organized

The Harrison Hospital Foundation is already beginning to organize its 2002 Festival of Trees. The 3-day holiday and community event takes place over Thanksgiving weekend at the Kitsap Pavilion and President’s Hall. In the last 15 years, in excess of $1.4 million has been raised to benefit the local hospital.

The Foundation is looking for creative, energetic people with great organizing skills, ideas, talent and time to contribute. Committee members will meet monthly beginning this month to plan the event. There are over 35 different aspects of the event each headed by a different committee member, so volunteers should easily find an area of interest, noted event coordinator Susan Phillips. “It is a very satisfying to be a part of such a successful event, not to mention a lot of fun and a great way to make new friends.”
