Dance auditions for BPA’s production of the musical extravaganza, Crazy For You, will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 24, at The Playhouse. Dance experience is a plus, but it is not necessary for selection. Those auditioning should bring tap dance shoes (if you have them). Head shots and resumes are optional but appreciated.

Crazy for You is the quintessential musical, centering on a tale of boy meeting girl in the Wild West, where they spread goodness and ultimately fall in love.

Everybody sings, everybody dances and anything on hand is used to make music. The production features Music and Lyrics by George and Ira Gershwin and is based on the Book by Ken Ludwig with co-conception by Ken Ludwig and Mike Ockrent. Inspired from material by Guy Bolton and John McGowan, the show was originally produced on Broadway by Roger Horchow and Elizabeth Williams.

Directed by Karolynn Flynn, and sponsored by American Marine Bank, Crazy For You will be performed at The Playhouse May 10-25. Rehearsals begin Feb. 26.
