The Olympic College Board of Trustees has appointed a presidential search committee to help find the colleges next president. The committee will begin its work by meeting with Dr. Bob Barringer of Gold Hill Associates, a community college presidential search specialist and consultant.
They will determine the profile and characteristics sought by the school and send their recommendations to the Board. It is expected that the search process, which includes national advertising and on-campus visits by the finalists, could be concluded by May, with an employment start date of July 1 for the new president. Members of the Presidential Search Committee represent faculty, staff, students and the community. Trustee Douglas Sayan of Mason County, a former state legislator, will serve as Chair. |
