Point-No-Point Casino names
management team

The new Point-No-Point Casino slated to open early spring near Kingston, has announced the management team that will run Kitsap’s newest gaming establishment.

Patricia McFadden has been named General Manager. McFadden has more than 20 years of operations and management experience in the gaming industry serving most recently as Vice President of Operations for Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana. She has also held executive level positions for many of the premier casino companies, including Empress Casinos, Station Casinos, Bally’s and MGM.

McFadden will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the casino including slots and table games, food and beverage, marketing, finance, human resources and support services.

Mike Fuda, who boasts more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality business, will serve as director of support services. He has spent the last seven years at Embassy Suites Hotel in a number of management positions before to being promoted to assistant general manager. His expertise includes managing multiple capital improvement projects, information systems and facilities. Fuda will oversee surveillance, security, housekeeping, construction, facilities and information technologies.

Skip Peterson, who began his career with Harrah’s in Reno, has been selected as the director of gaming. He spent 20 years in the Reno area until relocating to Washington in 1999 to start Quan Casino Consultants In the past three years he has assisted in the opening of three properties including Quinalt Beach Resort and Casino in Ocean Shores.

Robin Pratt, who possesses almost 20 years of experience in accounting, management and finance, has been named director of finance. Pratt is a certified public accountant whose experience covers a variety of industries including broker dealers, computer support services and housing and food services. Pratt worked for Murphery Favre, a subsidiary of Washington Mutual, where she performed extensive SEC regulatory reporting. Prior to joining Point-No-Point’s management team, Pratt worked as Controller for Microsery Inc. and Mirage Marketing where she managed financial operations in Canada and the United States.

Robert Stowe will serve as director of food and beverage. Certified as an Executive Chef through the American Culinary Federation, Stowe has spent the past 20 years as a chef and managing food operations in a variety of settings from Walt Disney World to Czechoslovakia. His cooking repertoire includes styles ranging from Cajun to East Indian and also has experience preparing and cooking wild game.

He owned and operated the Back Bay Inn on Vashon Island and served as food and beverage director at the Trophy Lake Dry Fly Cafe in Port Orchard.

Stowe will oversee the operations of Keeper’s Cove, a full-service restaurant; the Lighthouse Lounge, which will feature live entertainment; and the Beacon Bar, which will offer bar-top gaming and a variety of beverages. He will also oversee cocktail service on the casino floor.

Sunshine Nance has been tapped as director of marketing. She brings more than ten years of experience in marketing and business development to the position, including various marketing roles-with technology companies like Boxlight Corporation and ActiveLight, both based in Poulsbo. Nance has been responsible for the development and management of tradeshow campaigns, supervising company websites and public relations programs, managing special events, assisting with advertising and direct mail programs, optimizing database tracking and developing return on investment reports.

Nance will oversee casino marketing and advertising, players club, promotions, special events and public relations.

The Point-No-Point Casino is owned by the S’Klallam Tribe and is located in Kingston, just off Hansville Road. It’s scheduled to open next month and will feature 150 video slot machines, six table games, a full-service restaurant and ample paved parking.
