Ralph’s Red Apple Market, located on the top of Kitsap Way near Kitsap Lake, was named as the Red Apple Store of the Year at the company’s annual meeting on Nov. 26.

It also was recognized for having the top deli among the 40 stores in Washington and Oregon.

Owners Mark and Patty Nesby, who have operated the store since 1977, attributed their success to a great crew managed by Glyn Correll and deli manager Louann Tate as well as community support and customer loyalty.
