Olympic Printer Resources, Inc., a Kingston firm that recycles laser and ink jet printer, fax machine, and copier cartridges, has entered into an agreement with several local schools to assist in their inkjet recycling and remanufacturing business.
They need empty inkjet cartridges to support their remanufacturing needs, so they have set up recycling containers at Richard Gordon Elementary, Wolfle Elementary, Kingston Junior High, Kingston Co-operative Preschool, and Silverwood School to collect empty ink jet cartridges. The firm donates $1 to each school or one of their extra-curricular programs for each recyclable cartridge turned over that is undamaged and has not been previously refilled or remanufactured.
Pete DeBoer, president of the firm commented, This is great opportunity to support schools extra-curricular programs like the Washington Reading Corp program at Wolfle, the ASB Program at Richard Gordon, and the Builders Club at Kingston Junior High. It is win-win situation where we get the empty cartridges to support our production efforts and the schools receive funds to support their programs.
DeBoer also said he is interested in expanding the program to non-profit organizations. For more information, contact him at (360) 297-8384, (800) 689-5488, or visit www.olyprinter.com. |
