The former Blue Water Diner, located at 305 Madison Avenue on Bainbridge Island, reopened with on Nov. 14 with new owners and a new name — the Big Star Diner.

The new owners are Jay Wence and Michelle Enslow. The authentic 1940’s style diner, which was transported to Bainbridge and completely restored by former owner Al Packard, boasts a menu that features homemade, everything-made-from-scratch food and authentic hand dipped shakes.
