Bremerton artist Robert (Bob) Ulsh will be the featured artist at Port Orchard’s Sidney Art Gallery during the month of November. Ulsh is known for his historically accurate Mosquito Fleet art, and has fulfilled a number of U.S. Navy are commissions, including a PERA-CV mural of the USS Nimitz.

One of Ulsh’s current projects is painting a historical timeline mural of old downtown Port Orchard or the Sidney Museum and Arts Association. When completed, the mural it will be mounted on the Prospect St. side of the Sidney Museum and Art Gallery in the historical downtown area of Port Orchard.

A major portion of the mural will be displayed in the gallery during his show. He will also continue working on that portion all month.

Ulsh will exhibit Nov. 7 to 20 with a public reception on Nov. 11 from 1 to 4 p.m.
