Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA) is pleased to showcase the 9th through 12th Grade Theatre School Production Class in their production of Island of Dr. Moreau. Based on the classic story by H.G. Wells, this chilling tale is a new adaptation by BPA Theatre School Director Steven Fogell.
The BPA Theatre School invites you to take a dark journey to the world of Dr. Moreau, a place where animal and man meet as one. BPAs education programs support the values of successful learning and personal growth. All courses focus on the development of self-esteem, effective and caring group skills, and a comfort with and love of the arts. By providing a non-judgmental, positive, and supportive environment, BPAs Theatre School helps children tap into their own creativity and respect that of others.
Island of Dr. Moreau involves mature subject matter and is not recommended for younger children. The production will be held at The Playhouse November 15, 16 and 17, with evening performances Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m., and a Saturday matinee at 3 p.m. Tickets are available at the BPA Box Office, or they may be charged by phone at (206) 842-8569. |
