The Verksted Gallery in historic downtown Poulsbo is pleased to announce their newest artist duo called Raven.

Christian and AuraVaughn Raven are separate artists with diverse talents, but collectively they represent their work as Raven. They have been professionally doing art together for twelve years, married for nine of those years.

Christian has a BA degree in Fine Art and Journalism from the University of New Mexico. A former news photographer for NBC, Christian holds a Rocky Mountain Emmy and an Addy. He studied coppersmithing in Mexico under the master Caesar Montoya. Also an accomplished model shipwright, Raven ship models are highly regarded and sought after by collectors.

Raven Arts just completed a custom commission of the “Flying Cloud” for the formal dining room of an ocean going luxury yacht. AuraVaughn has formal education in Interior Design studying at the New York Institute for Design. Their first combined artistic achievement was a children’s book entitled “The Lonely Little Tree” which won a Bronze Apple for educational content.
