Mutual Materials opens in Port Orchard

Bellevue-based Mutual Materials recently opened a new store in Port Orchard at 1515 Vivian Court. The firm will close its Bremerton store.

Designed to serve contractors and their customers, the store will showcase the firm’s wide selection of bricks, pavers, and related masonry and hardscape products

Located at a brand-new two-acre site, the store’s lot was mechanically installed. Mechanical installation, which will be a key service feature of the new store, is a new paving trend that saves money on paving projects.

“Opening a new store in Port Orchard allows us to provide the local building material and landscape communities with an unparalleled selection of quality masonry and hardscape products, as well as with our outstanding customer service,” noted Joe Bowen, executive vice president of sales and marketing.

Mutual Materials, which is over 100 years old and has 14 branch locations, is the largest manufacturer of brick and concrete block in the Pacific Northwest. It operates three brick plants, four concrete block plants and a state-of-the-art paver plant.
