Most people comparison-shop for new cars, focusing on features and cost. Professionals should use the same process to choose a college. Many schools offer Accounting degrees, but the degree requirements and class content vary considerably. Review the course catalogs and identify the course content that is of most interest to you. Then, compare the fees, cost per credit, and number of credits required to complete the degree. The cost per credit can vary widely, from $400 to $575 for a Bachelors Degree for example. You will invest a considerable amount of time and money in your degree, so make sure you maximize the return on your investment by comparison shopping.
