Mentor Jr. named a “SuperLawyer”

Joe Mentor Jr., son of Joe Mentor Sr., of the Mentor Company in Silverdale, was recently named to the Washington Law & Politics annual list of SuperLawyers. Only four percent of lawyers are selected for this honor.

Joe Mentor, Jr. founded the Mentor Law Group, PLLC, in 2000. He works with a variety of public and private entities on water resources and other natural resource issues. He has published and lectured extensively on water and natural resources law, and authored the “Water Law” chapter in the Washington Lawyer’s Practice Manual.

Mentor clerked for Washington Supreme Court Justice James Dolliver, served as Legislative Counsel to U.S. Senator Daniel J. Evans and as Minority Chief Counsel and Staff Director for the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Indian Affairs.

He is active in party politics, the Associated General Contractors of Washington and a number of conservation-related organizations.
