In an enchanting garden ceremony with more than 100 guests, Clear Creek Nursery hosted its first wedding this month. The marriage was held at the base of a newly crafted 80-foot water park with waterfalls, ponds, streams, and a Gazebo overlooking the falls. Meandering paths weave through a living tapestry of exotic plants and bamboo rooms adjacent to the Clear Creek salmon spawning ground, where the nursery installed more than 100 lights to illuminate the cascading falls and surrounding gardens. Plans are already underway for a wedding next month, and dates are now being reserved for next year.

Responding to their personal vision, owners Sean and Veronica Olmsted fashioned a magical landscape that conspires to overwhelm the senses and beckons for visitors to linger. Minutes from downtown Silverdale, this quintessential northwest landscape serves as a tranquil backdrop for business and social events as well as browsing through the extensive botanical and water garden collections at the nursery.

Now in its’ fourth year, the Clear Creek Nursery family business arose from talents and energies spanning three generations of Olmsteds. “Grandpa” Harland is known for customer service. Harland’s son, Paul, the “pond guy,” lends his expertise in Koi and pump systems; Harland’s grandsons Matt and Josh maintain the equipment and run the landscaping crews respectively. Their brother Sean and his wife are the owners and visionaries responsible for this fantasy landscape.

Located at 11688 Clear Creek Rd. in Silverdale, Clear Creek Nursery is now accepting applications and bookings for business and social events ranging from retreats to weddings and receptions.

Clear Creek Nursery continues to offer a wide array of nursery stock including bark, topsoil, mulch, gravel, stepping stones, plants, and pond paraphernalia.
