Summer Laughs at Jewel Box Theatre in Poulsbo

The Jewel Box Theatre’s summer season, “Summer Laughs in Poulsbo,” continues in August with that audience favorite “The Owl and the Pussycat”.

This comic classic begins when a stuffed-shirt writer standing in his window focuses his binoculars on a woman making her living in the world’s oldest profession. He complains to the landlord and she is evicted — and promptly shows up at his door demanding a bed for the night, since it was he who made her suddenly homeless.

These two misfits begin a dance around each other, in vivid comic episodes startling in their intensity and truth, end up (of course) reluctantly falling in love.

Tickets are on sale at Liberty bay Books in Poulsbo, Kitsap Mall Information Desk in Silverdale, Cut & Dried Flower Shop in Kingston or online at www.poulsboplayers.org. For reservations, information of to arrange assisted entry to the Jewel Box Theatre call (360) 779-6946 or (360) 779-9688.
