Textile artist Claire Favro will be showing new works in August. at the Artists’ Edge Gallery in Manette.

Elegant, efficient use of color, texture, and graphic elements transform pieces of fabric — sometimes just a few, sometimes hundreds — into powerful emotional landscapes. Commissioned works are in private collections around the country and have been published in Art/Quilt Magazine.

The show will feature new hangings, including some light-box pieces, as well as photographic prints and art cards.
