Huntington announces Port re-election bid
Port of Bremerton commissioner Mary Ann Huntington has announced her intentions to run for a third term this fall.
Huntington says, “We have come a long way during my terms in office, establishing the Port Orchard and Bremerton waterfront areas as destination tourist attractions.” Port Orchard Marina brings in over a million tourist dollars a year to the local economy and is host to the largest Chris Craft gathering in the world.

The Port of Bremerton also owns and operates Bremerton National Airport, Olympic View Business and Industrial Park, Chico and Evergreen Park boat launch and Annapolis and Harper piers. A revised master plan in the planning stages, with the combined creative ideas of the board, will open up the potential for many jobs and new businesses to come to the area.

Huntington has served on statewide and regional transportation committees, tourism committees, Puget Sound Naval Base Association, Navy League, Port Orchard and Bremerton Chambers, Historic Ships Association.
