The Northwest Women’s Business Center (NWWBC), recently opened at the Electronic Commerce Resource Center (ECRC), which is located at 5780 Werner Road in Bremerton.

Statistics show that women continue to start businesses at two-and-a-half times the rate of other small businesses in the US. By 1999, there were 9.1 million women-owned businesses in the US, employing over 27.5 million people and generating $3.6 billion in sales. This amazing rate of growth shows a tremendous potential in the sector for our economy. The NWWBC is responding to this strong growth with the addition of services and programs to the Kitsap area.

The NW Women’s Business Center provides technical assistance, training and access to capital to woman from all walks of life preparing to start, grow or sustain their businesses.
